2011 "Xmas In July" Gala Dinner
The 2011 "Xmas In July" Gala Dinner was held on Saturday 30th July 2011.
With your generous support every year gets bigger and better, and this year was no exception. We had over 240 guests who enjoyed a mix of entertainment from our good friends "Moondance", Comedian Bruce Griffiths and Sala Dancing sensations Kristine and Fernando from Love Love Dance. As well as our special guest and friend of the Foundation, Kamahl.
It was terrific to see Vanessa Piccinini take the stage in perfect health to tell us of her remarkable recovery and of her recent engagement. With your help we hope to have a few more good news stories to tell next year. Sadly for most people needing our help all we can hope is that their burden is lightened a little and that they can manage their illness with some dignity.
The Foundation has many exciting projects coming up in 2012 including the Epping Street Fair on Sunday 26th August 2012 and the "Spring" Annual Gala Dinner set for 1st September 2012. Please mark this in your diaries now!
Next year's gala dinner and is kindly hosted once again by our generous friends at the Epping Club.
