Balance UTS Fundraising Night
On Wednesday 25 February 2009, Balance UTS Triathlon Club held yet another fundraising event for the Lynne King Cancer Care Foundation. An information night held at Running Science (a generous sponsor of the Balance UTS Triathlon Club) at 186 Victoria Rd Rozelle.
This night was designed to help beginner and experienced athletes with their training with great information and tips from experienced speakers who talked about Nutrition, Sports Injury Prevention, Cycling Skills, Running Shoes & Mental Preparation for events. The speakers ranged from Run Specialists, Physiotherapists to Commonwealth Gold Medalists & Olympic Bronze Medalists.
At the conclusion of the speakers, the Running Science staff were available to provide expert advice in shoe fitting for all. Running Science are also offering fantastic store wide discounts with a whopping 20% off all merchandise. Also 25% of all sales went to the Lynne King Cancer Care Foundation.
The Lynne King Cancer Care Foundation would like to thank all involved in organising this event at Balance Tri Club and all that went along on the night for their support. We hope that everyone got a lot out of the evening.
