On Wednesday 17th August, Reg King represented the Lynne King Cancer Care Foundation at the 2011 Parramatta City Council Community Development Support Expenditure Scheme (CDSE) Grants Presentation Ceremony.

The CDSE Scheme is a community development funding program sponsored by local clubs and administered by Parramatta Council. This scheme enables registered clubs with an annual gaming machine revenue exceeding $1 million to apply 1.5% of their gaming machine revenue to specific community development and support projects. The Foundation was one of  53 local community organisations and charities to receive a grant.

The Lynne King Cancer Care Foundation was successful in it's application and was granted $10,000 for ongoing cancer care funding. This grant was contributed by The Epping Club.
